Hanged Man
Not everyone feels comfortable with this card because it requires you to think about sacrifice, or actually sacrifice something like your time or passions. Perhaps something material, like your house or money. Or perhaps something more abstract, like your thoughts and beliefs. It suggests you might be going through a tough time where your life is on hold and you're unable to gain what you want, or advance in the way you want to. Is your life on hold today? The Hanged Man asks you to consider why that might be, and then asks you to look at your situation in a different way. He chooses to hang himself deliberately so he can get an alternate, and sometimes better, perspective of his predicament. He won't be strung up there forever, and neither will you. So, there's no harm in waiting. Just wait. Today, the things that don't manifest may give you a chance to breathe, look at things from another angle, and consider that this delay may be for the best. Everyone is on a different time schedule according to their soul's calling, and sometimes, certain things need to be let go of before all parties can move on.
